Who we are

Elite Training Academy provides hairdressing, barbering and beauty training at 14 Grange Ave, Luton, LU4 9AT. For any question about your personal details, contact Donna McGowan on 07771 778872 or donna.mcgowan1@hotmail.com.

The data controller is Elite Training Academy. ICO registration number: to be confirmed by the academy.

What we collect

  • Your name, telephone number and email address when you enquire by phone, email or social media.
  • Details you choose to share about your experience, goals and the training you are interested in.
  • Course records, attendance and assessment information if you enrol on a course.
  • Health or accessibility information only where you tell us about it so that we can support you safely during practical training.

Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiry and discuss suitable training.
  • To arrange, deliver and assess your course.
  • To submit work to the relevant awarding body where your qualification requires it.
  • To keep the records we are required to keep as a training provider.

We rely on your consent when you contact us, on the performance of our agreement with you once you enrol, and on our legal obligations for record keeping.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your details and we do not share them for marketing. We share information only where it is needed to deliver your training — for example with the awarding body for your qualification — or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to training are removed once they are no longer needed. Student and assessment records are kept for as long as the awarding body and our record-keeping duties require, and are then securely deleted or destroyed.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will respond as quickly as we can.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
